Back in late 2018, when I sat down to envision what I wanted to accomplish in the new year, it looked nothing like this. I had a plan…and you know what they say about the best laid plans, right?
In the first three months of the year, my day job has cut my hours in half which has been scary on the budget front, but has been exactly what’s needed. It’s given me the time and space to really focus on painting and creating Intentional Creativity workshops. It’s given me the space to realize that even though I don’t like the uncertainty, I am happier now than I was a few months ago.
This painting is the story of that transformation, the commitment I’ve made to my SoulWork. The ideas are flowing, crossing the veil of form. The people I care about, the ones I’m called to serve, are making their way toward my studio.
This is a work in progress, there’s more to do, but I love this painting just the way it is, rough and unfinished but so full of meaning and story at the same time – it reflects life back at me from the canvas.
I’m excited to share more in the next few weeks, but here’s a preview of what’s coming:
- Weeping Canvas: A free online Intentional Creativity workshop to process grief and trauma.
- Compass Rose Summit: An invitation for women to claim a new ‘direction’ in their lives and discover new pathways.
- Right-Brain Business Plan: Claim your work in the world!
I’d love to send you a personal invitation to these events:
